Do you do custom website design? Because I really, really, really want to help design my website.At this time (and for the foreseeable future), we are not offering any custom design work services- sorry! Because custom sites take so long to create, offering them contradicts our goal of offering unique sites at an affordable price, so we have to turn down custom projects right now.

Can I change parts of the graphic design?We strive to make your website custom fit to your needs. The placement and content of text boxes and images boxes are all completely customized to your wishes. The basic graphic design, however, isn't. That means that the background design, the color, and the general look of the site are not able to be customized. However, we will work closely with you to achieve the vision you have for your site. Would you like five photo boxes on the front page? No problem. What about trading out the frame that is shown for something else. You got it. The only limits are once the site has been constructed and uploaded, you will only have two opportunities to make changes without charge. We are confident that we can perfect any tweaks within those two opportunities. After that, there will be an hourly charge for additional graphic design work.

How much work will I have to do to set up my site?In order to know exactly which information you'd like on your site, we will send you a Content Packet, which will ask you for the specific content (text and images) you'd like on your site. This packet is extremely detailed and we'd like you to spend as much time on it as possible. It might take you a few days to decide which information you'd like on your site, but we'll wait for you :). We're also available to offer suggestions if you feel creatively blocked. However, we feel that you know your customer base better than us, and probably will be better at "speaking" to your specific demographic.

What if I leave something blank in the Content Packet?We cannot begin the customizing of your site until we have ALL of the information you need to provide us. We would like you to hang on to the packet until you have finished everything so that all the information stays organized and in one place.

What if I change my mind about the wording after I submit my Content Packet?We understand that you might change your mind about the content as the site is being built. We will do our best to accommodate these types of requests, but each client is limited to two requests before we will charge an additional fee. You can check out our Maintenance Menu for pricing.

Can I update my site on my own?Yes! Each website comes standard with your own CMS (content management system). It is extremely user friendly and was chosen specifically to make your life easier! FYI: Any text on your site that you want access to in order to make changes must be in a web-safe font. These are fonts that everyone can see on their computers. If you choose a fancy font and people don't have that loaded onto their computer, it will revert to a web-safe font (and might make your page not as cute). The we-safe fonts are: Ariel, Courier, Georgia, Verdana, Trebuchet MS and Lucinda San. In order to have your site display "fun" fonts, I will need to be the one to edit them. How much of the content will I be able to manage on my own?The CMS you will be working with will let you change the text and images on almost anything you'd like. However, any text that is not a standard "web-safe" font will need to be changed by us with our graphic design software. What this means is that anything that is in "fancy" font has been generated and inputted as an image so that all viewers can view that font. Otherwise, it has to be a websafe font (common fonts such as Times New Roman, Courier, Lucinda, etc). As we begin discussing your new website, we will pre-determine which areas of text you'd like the ability to manage on your own. If you decide to use us to maintain your site, we can use the fun, fancy fonts all throughout your site (no ordinary fonts need to be used).

What if I don't want to update my site on my own?We understand that not everyone has time to maintain their own site. We offer a very affordable Maintenance Menu and you can leave the work to us!
